Taylor and Michael | Qualicum Beach Forest Wedding

One of the coolest things for me when I shoot weddings in Qualicum Beach is that I often get a chance to reconnect with people from my childhood that I have not seen in a long time. This wedding was one of those opportunities. I went to elementary school with Taylor, her makeup artist and one of her bridesmaids, and it always warms my heart to see people that I cared about when I was a kid doing amazing things with their lives now. That would have been awesome on its own, but the awesomeness of this wedding definitely didn't stop there.

Taylor and Michael decided to tie the knot at one of the prettiest places in town- Crown Mansion right next door to the Qualicum Heritage forest (if you haven't been to this forest, make sure to check it out). It was pretty much a forest photographer's dream location! Great people in love, great location- what else could a person ask for?
