Alex & Myles | Courtney Backyard Wedding

I love every wedding I photograph, but I especially love the ones that have a great story behind how they found me (haha)!

A couple of months ago I made a post in a travel group about buying a sailboat. Alex ended up creeping my Facebook page because of that post and finding this website!

So long story short, that is how I ended up in Courtney on Star Wars Day, photographing their beautiful back yard wedding. Both the ceremony and reception were held and homes on the street Myles grew up on- the ceremony at his parent's neighbours and the reception at his parent's house. The rest of the wedding was their own DIY handy work. Impressed? I was too!

p.s. Seal Bay is amazingly gorgeous and I highly recommend visiting it next time you're in Courtney!
