It's this time of year that I start yearning for a kind of strange thing- seeing and walking in the magical canopy of deciduous trees. Conifers are also amazing, but there is just something so powerful and lovely about walking beneath the leaves of a broad leaf maple, or amongst the green of an oak tree.
So here is a photographic ode to some of the canopies I have loved the most, both bare and full of spring and summer life. From Vancouver Island, to Ireland and Thailand. Forests are amazing wherever we are.
Cameras used: Nikon D800, Nikon D750, IPhone 4, GoPro Hero 6
P.s. can you spot the monkeys? :D
