Halloween is my favourite "holiday". All of the dark and spooky things feel closer to the surface. Days are getting shorter and crisper and the night creeps into our days after being banished for the last few months. I always feel like that change gives us an opportunity to try and take a look at those dark things in our lives that we often shy away from... the dark parks of ourselves that we fear and want to hide from.....
Kierra and I tried to get together at this time last year to do this shoot, but timing just wasn't right. After how these turned out, I can't say I'm disappointed anymore that we didn't get to create it in 2016.
