Love At Sunrise | Adventure Couples Session

For five months, Natalie, Sid and I tried to find a weekend to hike up a mountain and capture some epic sunrise pics. For 5 months, our plans were re-routed by either the weather, fire bans ending our access to the mountains, or us all being so exhausted from our insane summers that we just didn't have the energy to get up and climb.

For 5 months though, I dreamed of this hike. I dreamed of the colours, of the layers, of the beauty that exists when you are close to such perfect nature even before the sun is. And I started worrying that this dream wasn't going to come true, as my move to Ireland was looming and our number of weekends were dwindling.

Then, by some miracle, we found a weekend that worked, and we all managed to be healthy, and get up on time, AND THERE WASN'T EVEN ANY CLOUDS! I don't think we could have picked a more perfect morning.

We didn't quite make it to the top of the mountain before we saw the sun, but we did make it to the perfect location regardless, and we were able to capture some epic photos before continuing our hike to the summit.
